On November 21, the Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology Conference and Science and Technology Awards Ceremony was grandly held in Guiyang. Xu Lin, Secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee, attended. As the latest product converted from this technology, Guda's 'Flexible Mineral Insulated Fireproof Cable' can have a service life of over a hundred years under normal working conditions, which is several times that of ordinary plastic insulated cables. Its insulation and fire barrier layers use inorganic mineral materials, with fire resistance levels meeting the national standard GB/T19216's requirement of 750°C for 90 minutes. The fire resistance during combustion, fire resistance to water spray, and fire resistance to mechanical impact also meet the British BS6387 fire resistance standards. The armored protective layer uses pure copper, stainless steel, or aluminum alloy materials, and the metal corrugated sheath layer comprehensively enhances the cable's resistance to mechanical impact and corrosion. Some cable models are extruded with a halogen-free low-smoke protective layer outside the metal protective layer, allowing safe operation even in chemically polluted areas prone to corrosion. The metal corrugated sheath structure also increases the cable's flexibility, raising the minimum bending radius to 12 times the cable's outer diameter, overcoming the rigidity of fireproof cables that are difficult to bend, making installation convenient and aesthetically pleasing, significantly reducing construction difficulty and costs. The conductor uses high-purity oxygen-free copper, reducing losses during the transmission of electrical energy, greatly improving energy utilization efficiency, lowering consumers' electricity costs, and meeting modern society's demand for green, low-carbon, and sustainable development. The insulation layer uses inorganic mineral materials, which are low-smoke, halogen-free, and non-toxic, overcoming the drawbacks of ordinary plastic cables that produce large amounts of smoke and toxic gases during fires, effectively avoiding secondary harm to the human body.
