Longdongbao Airport
Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport (Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport [1] ,IATA:KWE,ICAO:ZUGY), hereinafter referred to as "Guiyang Airport", is located in the eastern suburb of Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, with an altitude of 1139 meters and 11 kilometers from the city center. It is a 4E-class civil international airport. It is an important aviation hub, regional hub airport and member of southwest airport group in western China. On May 28, 1997, Guiyang Longdongbao Airport was completed and opened to traffic. On December 16, 2005, the Civil Aviation Administration of China approved the upgrading of Guiyang Longdongbao Airport to an international airport. In September 2010, the airport began the second phase of the expansion project. In April 2013, the second phase expansion project of Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport was opened. On September 5, 2018, the T3 terminal project of the third phase expansion project of Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport officially started construction.
