What technology is used to deal with mine high-voltage rubber sleeve cable joints

The high-voltage power transmission of the main mining equipment in the iron ore quarry adopts the UCF-6kV type high-voltage rubber-sheathed cable for mining. Because the sealing, insulation performance and mechanical strength of the regular insertion and binding methods can not meet the relevant technical requirements, frequent grounding, short circuit and blasting of cable joints occur frequently in rainy days, which has become a long-term problem in the production operation of the mining field. Through repeated investigation of the treatment methods of high-voltage rubber-sheathed cable joints in other mines, combined with the actual situation of the mine stope, they finally decided to adopt cold-fill vulcanization technology to treat the high-voltage rubber-sheathed cable joints in mines.

Selection of JA-8 mining cable PU cold glue. It has the characteristics of fast curing at room temperature, firm adhesion with cable sheath, tensile tear resistance, wear resistance and good electrical insulation performance. It is a good potting material for cable joint on-site treatment.

 

② Exploitation of high-voltage rubber-sheathed cable joints for mining.

The two sides of the mining high-voltage rubber sheathed cable joint are each 50mm cut into a cone, and the distance between the cone and the cylindrical junction of the cable on both sides is 350mm. The core wire at the joint shall be stripped off for about 30mm, and connected by copper crimping tube to ensure the quality of crimping. The tape is wrapped with a plastic wrap to improve the degree of insulation between the core wires. Before repairing, the power supply must be disconnected, and then the mineral powder and oil dirt on the damaged part of the high-voltage rubber sleeve cable and the surrounding surface must be eliminated. The tapered surfaces on both sides of the rubber-sheathed cable connector are rasped with a wood file to expose a fresh surface and are kept clean.

 

③ Mold for high-voltage rubber-sheathed cable joint.

The selection of mold is one of the keys to ensure the vulcanization of the joint. The mold made of high-pressure polyethylene sheet is a disposable consumable, which is limited to the use of factory buildings and flat areas, and the demoulding time is long. The material of the self-made mold is Q235 ordinary carbon structural steel, also known as A3 plate. This kind of mold has high strength and can be used for a long time. Three M20 screw holes are drilled in the middle of the length direction of the self-made mold, one of which is used to install the feeding funnel and the other two are used as exhaust holes to ensure the smooth discharge of gas between the mold and the filler. The die is half open and its inner surface is galvanized to improve the surface finish of the cable joint.

 

④ Mine high-voltage rubber sleeve cable joint compound filling.

Straighten the cable of the repair section as straight as possible and place it in a horizontal position. Install the mold at the joint part of the cable with three screw holes upward. Fasten it with M10 bolts. Open the packaging cans of component A and component B of the rubber material. Pour all component B into component A, stir quickly with a dry stirring rod for about 1min, and slowly pour the evenly mixed rubber material into the funnel. When the overflow holes on both sides of the funnel flow out of the glue, indicating that the mold cavity may have been filled with glue, then you can stop pouring glue. Approximately 1.5kg of glue is required for each cable joint. It can be put into use after 0.5h in summer and 1h in winter.

 

⑵ Cold Repair Vulcanization Effect of Mine High Voltage Rubber Sleeve Cable Joint Up to now, the iron ore of the company has carried out cold repair vulcanization treatment on all the high voltage rubber sleeve cable joints of 7 main equipment in the mining field. The practice of the mine for many years has proved that this treatment technology is a good solution to the problem of mine high-voltage rubber cable joint failure.

 

① Water resistance test.

They put the vulcanized high-voltage rubber sleeve cable joint into water for use, and there has never been a cable joint grounding, short circuit, etc. The number of power outages caused by cable joints during the rainy season is also almost zero. According to the statistical data of the mine, the number of failures from January to July before the cold repair vulcanization process is adopted for the high-voltage rubber cable joint in the mining field is 8, 11, 12, 14, 17, 20 and 22 respectively. After the cold repair vulcanization process is adopted for the high-voltage rubber cable joint in the mining field, the number of failures from January to July is 0, 1, 0, 1, 2, 2 respectively. It can also be seen from the statistical curve chart of mine-used high-voltage rubber-sheathed cable failure in the mining field that the curve fluctuation before cold-make-up vulcanization process is relatively large, and the failure rate of mine-used high-voltage rubber-sheathed cable increases sharply with the arrival of rainy season. The cable joint after cold-make-up vulcanization process has good waterproof performance, and can ensure normal power transmission in winter and rainy season.

 

② Cost analysis.

The average number of failures of high-voltage rubber-sheathed cables used in the mine quarry is l5 times per month before cold-make-up vulcanization process is adopted. The direct consumption cost of joints is l500 yuan/month, the annual average cable consumption cost is 8300 yuan/month, the output loss caused by joints is l3608 yuan/month, and the total consumption is 23408 yuan/month. After the use of cold-fill vulcanization process, each joint rubber consumption of 76.5 yuan, high-pressure self-adhesive tape cost of l7.5 yuan/month, joint direct cost of 6700 yuan/month, production loss of 328 yuan/month, the total cost consumption of 7ll3 yuan/month. Save mining high-voltage rubber sheathed cable 23408-7ll3 = l6295 yuan/month throughout the year.

 

(3) Experience

The mine high-voltage rubber sleeve cable joint vulcanized by cold patching has good water resistance, electrical insulation, safety and reliability, and is especially suitable for rainy season production. The whole vulcanization process is simple and convenient to operate on site, can be completed by ordinary workers, has short joint processing time and can resume production quickly. The economic benefits are considerable and the comprehensive cost can be reduced by 195540 yuan per year. It has good tensile and compressive mechanical strength.
